From Nov. 23 to 25, three academic events of “Silk Road Lecture Hall” were held both online and offline at the Silk Road Language and Culture Research Center.
Prof. Zhang Ripei gave a lecture entitled “Building a Language Think Tank”, Prof. Guo Xi gave a lecture entitled “Overseas Chinese Ancestral Language Heritage and its Research”, and Prof. Guo Longsheng gave a lecture entitled “Protecting the Vitality of Multiple Languages and Serving the Needs of National Development”. The three lectures were focused on problem awareness and clear countermeasures. After each presentation, students and teachers asked questions and engaged in a lively discussion with the three experts. The experts gave humorous explanations and answers, which won bursts of applause from the audience. Everyone said that they benefited a lot.
